Joshua Hyslop | If I Was A Better Man      The guitar line is seemingly latino-inspired in parts, and the feel is very peaceful and summery. Despite my issue with its disregard for the subjunctive, the lyrics are uncommon in a way as they capture helplessness and giving up but within such a chilled setting that it manages to be hopeful at the same time. 

Andy Shauf | Covered In Dust     Very slow and simple. Shauf’s voice is a slightly unconventional one but fits perfectly with the song.

Alexi Murdoch | Blue Mind     Murdoch’s voice has a beautiful Scottish burr which coupled with the repetitive guitar line makes the song one of the most relaxing sounds I have ever heard.
